Música para Todos in Jávea
Friday Dec. 12th, 2014
On Friday 12th December TJJ will present, for its 3rd successive year, a concert in the exquisite church of San Bartolomé in the old town of Jávea.
The programme this year is very special, Paisajes Sonoros, the sounds of the landscape – a selection of music reflecting the beautiful scenery of our world, the mountains, the colours of the earth and the ever changing moods of the sea.
The orchestra will start the evening with an Alpine Fanfare, we feel the power and the strength of the mountains enticing us into their hidden secrets, and from there we will be taken to the sea by the magical "Del Color de las Mareas". Suddenly we see the colours of the tides as the bay wakes up and we are invited along the paths of Poseidon. The 3rd piece, October, whisks us into autumn, the wind swirling the leaves, sometimes gently, sometimes sweeping us up in its enthusiasm. For the finale we form part of a group of travellers climbing up the stunning Mount Pilatus in search of dragons.
TJJ is delighted once again to have the students and teachers of the Conservatorio de Música perform for us, and especially that they will play Del Color de las Mareas, composed by José M Fayos-Jordán, a teacher in the Conservatoio here in Jávea.
We are looking forward to seeing you there, and as always remember that Together we can make the difference.
